AN OKLAHOMA TRADITION SINCE 1947

Starlight Band is Oklahoma's only professional concert band and includes over 50 musicians under the direction of Artistic Director L. Dale Barnett. Rich Fisher, jazz director, leads Starlight's Jazz Orchestra.

Programs contain a variety of music including patriotic, Broadway, pops, big band and jazz, and promise "something for everyone."

The Friends of Starlight Concerts, Inc. is a 501c3 organization, supported by local corporate sponsors, arts organizations, foundations, and individuals.

Concerts are held at Guthrie Green, 111 E. Brady, in Tulsa's vibrant Brady Arts District

Charles & Marion Weber Foundation "Things That Go Bump in the Night" as played by Starlight Concert Band, with special guests Kelly Ford and Spotlight Brass. For the concert press release, click here.

July 7

"Way Out West" performance by Starlight Concert Band, sponsored in part by Will Rogers Rotary Club, with special guests, fiddler Jeff Smith and Tulsa Metro Sound. For the concert press release, click here.

July 14

Circle Cinema and Cedar Creek "Night at the Movies" starring Starlight Concert Band, featuring popular movie themes, followed by Laurel & Hardy in "Liberty."

July 21

Starlight Jazz Orchestra will play "Jazz Standards" sponsored in part by First Fidelity Bank.

July 28

Universal Combustion Corporation presents Starlight Jazz Orchestra performing a tribute to Billy Strayhorn, Duke's right-hand man.

ADMISSION

Free. Parking is also free. The venue is accessible to those with disabilities.

DONATIONS

Tax-deductible donations are accepted at each concert, by mail, or online.

MORE DETAILS

Concessions are available. The public can bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic dinners, and pet dogs on leashes. Door prizes are given away at each concert.
